Vi - Vodafone Idea Store

Visited the Vodafone Store for changing my old SIM card. Staffs response are very good, particularly Mr Bishwajit, who is very helpful. Very surprised that all my works done within 2 minutes. Fully Satisfied.

I had a no signal issue since Aug 10, 2026 when I first approached the Vi Store in Anna nagar Chennai. After submitting copy of Aadhar etc and picture capture, I was told that if the submission is approved, it should get active in 2 to 4 hours. Since it did not get active I again contacted the original store when I was told to submit a hard copy photo along with Aadhar card to any store. Which I did. I was told that it should get active within 4 hours. Unfortunately that did not happen. Upon calling again they said that the submission was rejected again and that the person following up will try and check up with the back office to try and rectify the issue. After that several attempts to contact him have failed as he has been avoiding to take my call. I travelled yesterday to Guwahati and went to the Vi office near ABC (GS Road) today to follow up. I was serviced by Mr Biswajit with whom I had interacted earlier this year for a similar problem. Not only did he recognize me, but also swiftly worked on the docs submission, and had the line active again within 2 hours. I wanted to profusely thank Biswajit for not only smartly remembering me , but also working so efficiently to resolve my problems. It clearly shows that the systems and processes are the same everywhere, but it is the people behind the action whose attitude and efficiency makes the difference in getting the results. Biswajit made my day and I will remember his action which will probably keep my loyalty to Vodafone for some more time to come. Thanks.
